FROM TRASH TO TREASURE HANDS-ON
CREATIVE WORKSHOP OF RECYCLED AND REUSED OBJECTS

On Saturday, April 21, 2007 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wistariahurst invites you to join Artist Marjorie Latham to create art using found objects. This fun and creative program celebrates Earth Day by recycling and reusing found objects to make treasures! We encourage you to bring odds and ends such as buttons, broken jewelry, shoe boxes, picture frames and anything you might think is trash to recycle into something creative like a collage memory box, refrigerator magnet, colorful bookmark, treasure chest, decorative candle holder, dazzling picture frame and much more! This hands-on workshop is appropriate for all ages, inspiring the artist in everyone. Cost is $3 per person or $7 per family. Call the museum for more information (413) 322-5660
